Hello everyone! I figured that now is a great time to explain, briefly, what you need to know about Amazon Prime Day and Early Access (Lightning Deals).
Each year Amazon holds the most epic 24 hours of shopping that you can ever imagine. They have so many deals on literally everything you could possibly think of. These deals can sell out fast sometimes, especially if the savings on those items are huge and it is a high demand item.

So now what is Early Access or Lightning Deals? Leading up to Prime Day, Amazon has hundreds to thousands of items that are offered at Early Access pricing for Prime members. What this translates to is a Lightning Deal. Confusing? A little, but this is where we come in to explain it better.
When something is Early Access or Lightning Deal pricing, it is a deal that has been offered early with lower Prime Day type pricing. For example, the regular pricing could be for $100 but on the lightning deal it is (again example) $50.
Sounds like a good deal for sure. Now what the Lightning portion of this means is that after a certain time frame, or until the item at that pricing is 100% claimed you will get that lower price. If the item is 100% claimed before the time is up, you can still get the item, but the price may be higher after that original deal offer ends.
Items added to your cart may have a time limit to complete the purchase also. It's best to check out after you add the item to your cart. I know it's a little annoying but if you really want the item it's the best way.
