Hi everyone! We have exciting news for you! Dollar General is going to be having some cooler section food resets starting Monday January 27, 2025. What is included in the reset and what does it mean? Well this is the fun part! Included in this cooler reset are dairy and deli items. No it isn’t everything in the cooler section, but the select items we show you below are included.

So, on Monday the 27th, the items below will be a penny in some areas, but don’t worry, over a 4 week period (so the next 4 Mondays 1/27, 2/3, 2/10 and 2/17) is when you will check your area/stores for these items to penny.

As with any list your miles may vary and if an item is expired, they do not have to sell it to you. Scan with your app when in store to make sure the upc and packaging/flavor is showing $0.00 (means a penny). If you are at a new system (and if you by chance have a self-checkout (we have seen a few still open) that you total out the order to see the penny price. This is something we have seen before, the “discount/promotion” won’t show until total is pressed.

*Housekeeping Notice: Please do not ask the employees for penny items, if something is expired, they do not have to sell it, don’t make a mess and treat the store/employees like you would want to be treated with kindness.
